With Chinese companies seemingly leading the development of 5G technology, especially Huawei and primarily the development of 5G infrastructures, the US government has charged companies like Dell, Microsoft, and AT&T to development 5G infrastructures in the US.
However, US companies are leading in a number of ways in the development of 5G technology, particularly in 5G chip making.
Nonetheless, here are the US companies that are currently leading in 5G development and deployment globally and in the US:
